There is breaking news out of the independent counsel investigation that former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn is ready to testify that Trump himself directed Flynn “to make contact with the Russians.”
This bombshell comes the very day that Republicans in the Senate are poised to ram through their and Trump’s devastating, unpopular, and hurriedly thrown together tax bill that would rob from the middle class to give massive tax cuts to corporations and the ultrawealthy (while blowing a trillion-dollar hole in the deficit).
The process that gave us this terrible bill was a disaster even before these credible allegations but now, with these serious questions of Trump’s very legitimacy as president taking center stage, Congress must not pass this enormously destructive part of his dangerous agenda.
