Sign now to send a message urging Congress to stop the repeal of net neutrality!>> Supporter, In December, the Federal Communications Commission ignored the will of the public and went ahead with their plan to end net neutrality. Big cable corporations like Comcast and Verizon have been lobbying for the end of net neutrality since it went into effect so that they can control what we see on the internet and how much we pay for it. But there’s still a chance to stop the FCC -- a resolution to overrule the decision has been introduced in the Senate and we just need one more vote for it to pass. Congress needs to be flooded with emails and calls from their constituents demanding they protect net neutrality. The repeal was opposed by 83 percent of Americans, and even Republican voters overwhelmingly oppose the FCC decision. The internet has given rise to social justice movements, allowed ideas to flourish, and connected people across the globe in ways that used to be unthinkable. The right to an internet without corporate control must be fought for. Sign now to send a message to Congress to protect net neutrality! Thank you, Katie O’Connell, Digital Communications Coordinator
