CONGRESS:

Are you getting the American people’s message? Repeal of the Affordable Care Act is a NONSTARTER.

ANY future efforts to reform our health care system must:

1. Keep in place the vital protections of the ACA
2. Protect Americans’ existing health care
3. Be transparent
4. Be bipartisan

I pledge to fight against any bill that falls short of these principles, as it would be unacceptable.

And even though Trump and Republicans in Congress failed again to repeal the ACA, we know they may try again. We need to tell them what WE demand:

1. To keep the ACA in place
2. To protect Americans' existing health care
3. To be bipartisan
4. And to be transparent

Drafting bills in secret, not releasing text to legislators or the public, trying to avoid the CBO score, and sneakily using parlimentary measures to speed up votes is not the way.
