Tell the Senate: REJECT POMPEO

US Senators:

The Senate must block the confirmation of Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State. Pompeo should never have been confirmed as CIA Director, but his record of hostility towards Muslims and LGBTQ people, as well as his extremism on women's health and other issues, would be even more of a threat in the role of our nation's chief diplomat.

Every senator who supported Pompeo's confirmation as CIA Director now has a second chance to correct that error and oppose this extremist, while protecting the immensely important job of Secretary of State.

The Senate should reject the nomination of Mike Pompeo as the next US Secretary of State.

Currently Trump's head of the CIA, Pompeo has ties to extreme right-wing anti-Muslim groups. He has a record of supporting torture, using Islamophobic rhetoric, attacking LGBTQ people, and, as a member of Congress, taking part in the GOP's war on women's health. There is NO WAY an extremist like Pompeo should be representing America on the global stage as our chief diplomat.
