Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is trying to kill the bipartisan legislation to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump and his administration. We need to do everything we can not to let him.
It seems like every day, Trump goes on another lie-filled Twitter rant against what he calls "the World’s most expensive Witch Hunt." Trump and his lawyers are no claiming that, as president, Trump is actually above the law ... that if he obstructs justice, it's not a crime because he's the president and that he has the "absolute power" to pardon himself!
All the while, his staunchest allies in Congress and the right-wing media continue to attack the investigation and are egging Trump on to take action against it.
The bipartisan bill to protect the investigation is urgently needed.
