Demand that the Far Right Not Obstruct the Investigation!

The horrific events that unfolded on January 6 as insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol building were a direct threat to our democracy. The American people deserve answers about what happened that day and the events that led up to it.

Now that a bipartisan House select committee has been announced to investigate, they must do so without the obstruction of far-right representatives who seek to prevent the investigation from happening. I’m calling on all members of the U.S. House, especially those on the Far Right, to not obstruct or delay a thorough and complete investigation.

Six months ago, crazed and enraged Trump supporters violently stormed the U.S. Capitol in a desperate attempt to overturn the will of The People by preventing certification of the election results. Since then, far-right members of Congress have attempted to hide, deflect, and shield those involved from accountability – with some attempting to rewrite the history books altogether!

Recently, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the creation of a bipartisan select committee to investigate the Trump insurrection, but far-right representatives may seek to obstruct the investigation and we need you to join us in demanding that they allow a thorough and complete investigation to take place!
