Urge the Senate to Protect Voting Rights!

U.S. SENATE:

Across the country far-right lawmakers have introduced and passed sweeping measures that restrict the right to vote; congressional districts continue to become less democratic through partisan gerrymandering; and the ultra-wealthy and corporations buy their influence through unchecked and unlimited campaign donations. All of this must be put to an end if we are to strengthen our democracy.

I urge you to revise the Senate filibuster rules in order to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act swiftly and without delay to protect our democracy!

With more than 19 states having passed dozens of bills that would restrict the right to vote, protecting our democracy and this most sacred right becomes increasingly urgent. After months of obstruction from far-right senators, the Senate must break the archaic filibuster in order to pass the Freedom to Vote Act: John R. Lewis Act.
