Urge the Senate to Pass S.682 & Restore Net Neutrality!

US Senators:

Entrusting internet service providers to act on the interests of their customers is as foolish as the decision to allow the termination of the Net Neutrality rules which would require fair and equal access to the internet.

The U.S. House recently passed H.R. 1644 which would restore the Net Neutrality rules and protect consumers from unwarranted blocking, throttling, or prioritization of legal internet content. I urge you to stand on the side of consumers by supporting immediate passage of S.682 in the Senate!

One of the first things FCC Chairman Ajit Pai did when taking office was to repeal the Obama administration's Net Neutrality rules.

These rules were designed to protect consumers by ensuring that they have fair and equal access to the internet and they prevented internet service providers are prevented from blocking, throttling, or prioritizing content at the whim of giant corporations. Unsurprisingly, the Trump administration wanted these rules eliminated.

Thankfully, a bipartisan bill has just passed the House that would restore the Net Neutrality rules and codify them into law. It's now up to the Senate to pass the legislation, making us one step closer to protecting access to the internet.
