Save Net Neutrality

Members of Congress:

I urge you to take every action you can to stop the FCC's December 14 vote to end net neutrality. Millions of public comments to the FCC in favor of killing net neutrality were found to be FAKE, generated by bots, while 95% of the legitimate comments wanted to keep net neutrality.

I, like the majority of Americans, don't want Internet Service Providers to have the power to block websites, slow them down, give some sites an advantage over others, split the Internet into "fast lanes" for companies that pay and "slow lanes" for the rest, or force me to buy special "tiers" to access the sites and services I choose. But that's exactly what the FCC plan would do.

If the FCC passes their current order, every Internet user and business in this country will be unprotected from abuse by Internet providers, and the consequences will be dire. Further, this vote should not take place under a cloud of suspicion and dirty tricks by the opponents of net neutrality. Please publicly support net neutrality protections by denouncing the FCC's current plan. Do whatever you can to stop the vote and ensure that businesses and Internet users remain protected.

Corporate special interests, including telecom giants like Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T want to end net neutrality so they can control what you see and do online. They want to gut FCC rules, and then pass bad legislation that allows extra fees, throttling, and censorship. By ending net neutrality, the FCC will be ending access to an open and free internet for all Americans.

Millions of the comments in favor of killing net neutrality are fake and under investigation, while 95 percent of the legitimate comments SUPPORT net neutrality. The FCC should not hold a vote that is under a cloud of suspicion.
