Secretary Nielsen:
I call for your immediate resignation. Your repeated dishonesty in the position of Homeland Security Secretary is unacceptable. Your role in the separation of thousands of migrant children -- including babies and toddlers -- from their parents is abhorrent.
More recently, the tragic and preventable death of a 7-year-old girl while in U.S. Customs and Border Patrol custody is an egregious example of the barbaric and abusive treatment of immigrants.
The American people deserve transparency and government officials who do not carry out the cruel and inhumane treatment of desperate, vulnerable families.
