I demand that you resign from your post as Georgia's Secretary of State while you continue your campaign for governor. It not only presents a massive conflict of interest, but given your comments and history of suppressing voters in Georgia, you should resign immediately while continuing your campaign.

Georgia's Republican secretary of state, Brian Kemp, is actively suppressing voters from being eligible to vote in the fall midterms while he runs in a neck-and-neck race for governor against Democrat Stacey Abrams.

Kemp knows that a strong voter turnout will hurt Republican chances of winning so he is doing everything in his power to keep voters away from the polls. Even acknowledging at a private meeting with Republicans in 2014:

"Democrats are working hard, and all these stories about them, you know, registering all these minority voters that are out there and others that are sitting on the sidelines, if they can do that, they can win these elections in November."

Even Kemp's voter-purging predecessor as secretary of state, Karen Handel, resigned from the position while making her unsuccessful bid for governor in the 2010 election.
