Ground Zero for this year’s national wave of Jim Crow voter suppression laws is in Georgia. The law passed in Georgia, and signed into law by Gov. Brian Kemp, aims to make voting as difficult and unpleasant as possible for as many Black voters as possible.
Prominent voices in sports, entertainment, the faith community, and, yes, even many of America’s largest corporations, have been forceful in speaking out against the Georgia bill and those like it in other states. One company, the largest headquartered in Georgia - Home Depot - has been deafeningly silent about the attempts to restrict voting rights, despite pleas from the community to speak out.
In response to Home Depot's silence regarding the erosion of voting rights and our democracy, a coalition of Black church leaders have organized a boycott of the company; calling for people in Georgia and across the country to stand firm against Home Depot until they are willing to speak out against the attacks on voting rights.
Sign the petition now and let Home Depot know that you will be supporting the boycott!
