Stop Trump’s Judicial Takeover

U.S. SENATE:

I demand that you immediately stop confirming President Trump’s judicial nominees.

At a time when the Trump administration continues to attack the judiciary, defy constitutional limits, and inflame hostility toward judges who rule against it, the Senate must not hand over lifetime seats on the federal bench to nominees selected for their political loyalty.

Federal judges take an oath to uphold the Constitution, not to serve any president or partisan agenda. Confirming nominees who are aligned with efforts to undermine the rule of law would further erode public trust in the courts and threaten the independence of the judiciary for decades to come.

The Senate has a constitutional responsibility to provide advice and consent. In this moment, that responsibility requires drawing a clear line.
