I pledge to vote against far-right candidates who would only enable Trump and increase the number of MAGA judges on the federal bench. I will support progressives who understand that our courts should serve all of us, not just the wealthy and powerful, because the courts are too important to sit this election out.

The harmful decisions handed down by the Supreme Court this term are just the latest in a string of cases decided by a far-right majority that is hurting us, our families, and our communities. Time and again, we’ve experienced the harm that MAGA Republicans have caused by confirming conservative ideologues to the federal bench, people who are eager to impose their MAGA agenda rather than protect and uphold the constitutional values of equality and freedom.

From our right to vote, to our reproductive freedoms, to equal rights for all people regardless of race, gender or religion, and more, the fundamental tenets of our democracy are at stake. The decisions that federal judges make have lasting impacts on all of us. We must vote with the judiciary in mind. The president appoints judges and the senators confirm them; these offices are on the ballot and we must “vote the courts” this year. We need fair-minded judges and justices who uphold the rights of all of us, not just the wealthy and powerful.

Make no mistake, should Trump and MAGA Republicans win the election again this year, they will continue their destructive efforts to remake our courts in their image for generations to come. We must defeat Trump and Republican Senate candidates who threaten our courts with further harm.
