The 2020 election is over, and the United States Postal Service was an integral part of helping to ensure that it ran smoothly. This is true despite the bad faith changes made by Trump crony and Postmaster General Louis DeJoy in an attempt to skew the election’s results in Trump’s favor by implementing service changes that would affect the delivery of mail-in ballots. Their attempts to politicize the USPS failed – but this cherished American institution is still in danger.
With the U.S. experiencing one of the gravest coronavirus surges since its arrival on our shores last January, now more than ever our country needs the USPS to be in top working order. In order to do that, Congress must pass a coronavirus relief bill that allocates at least $25 billion in funding for urgent USPS support.
Demand that Congress act now to fund the survival of the United States Postal Service.
