Reject DHS Funding Without Accountability

U.S. SENATE:

The United States Senate must reject any Department of Homeland Security funding bill that fails to include real, enforceable accountability measures for ICE and Border Patrol. In recent weeks, federal immigration agents have killed two people in Minneapolis. These deaths are the result of DHS agencies allowed to operate with immense power without accountability and oversight, even as violence escalates and families are left without answers.

No DHS funding should move forward unless it includes meaningful reforms, strong oversight, and clear accountability to prevent further harm to our communities. Senators have a responsibility to act now, before more families are forced to mourn, and to make clear that federal law enforcement will not be funded without consequences for violence and abuse.
