Abortion care has never been at greater risk during our lifetimes than it is right now. Anti-choice restrictions like Texas's S.B. 8 are putting people in danger, but passing the Women’s Health Protection Act in the Senate could help prevent these threats that are spreading nationwide. The Women’s Health Protection Act (S.1975) would provide federal protections for reproductive care broadly and abortion care specifically – and it’s designed to put an end to, and declare illegal, restrictive laws like S.B. 8.
The House moved swiftly to pass WHPA when it returned from recess, and now we need the Senate to follow suit. With the fate of Roe v. Wade resting in the hands of a radical right-wing Supreme Court, we don't have time to waste. To save every person’s right to access abortion care – and the countless lives already at risk – we need urgent action in the Senate.
Demand that the Senate immediately pass the Women’s Health Protection Act!
