Urge the Senate to Reject Attacks on the Right to Vote!

U.S. SENATE:

The Senate must reject the so-called “SAVE Act” (HR 22) – a dangerous, anti-voter bill recently passed by in the House. This legislation would impose unnecessary and burdensome voter registration requirements on eligible voters, creating significant barriers to registration and disproportionately targeting communities of color, young voters, and low-income Americans.

The bill is built on a false narrative of widespread voter fraud, and it would pave the way for mass voter purges and widespread disenfranchisement. At a time when our democracy should be expanding access to the ballot, this bill does the opposite – silencing voices and undermining the freedom to vote.

I urge you to vote no and ensure this harmful bill never becomes law. Protect our democracy. Reject the SAVE Act (HR 22).

Republicans in the House just passed a voter suppression bill – and now it’s speeding toward the Senate.

The so-called "SAVE Act" is their latest attempt to make it harder for millions of eligible voters – especially from communities of color – to register and cast their ballots. They claim this bill is about “election integrity,” but don’t be fooled – it’s about making voting as difficult as possible for communities they want to silence.
