Help Stop the SAVE America Act

U.S. SENATE:

The Senate must immediately reject the SAVE America Act. This bill would create sweeping new barriers to voting by requiring many Americans to show documents like a passport or birth certificate just to register or stay registered, blocking millions of eligible citizens from the ballot. It would disproportionately harm women who have changed their names, voters of color, young people, rural communities, people with disabilities, and low-income voters, while throwing election administration into chaos and exposing election officials to severe penalties for honest mistakes. The SAVE America Act solves no actual problem. Noncitizen voting is already illegal and exceedingly rare. This legislation is a deliberate attempt to suppress turnout and weaken our democracy ahead of a critical election year.

I urge you to vote NO on the SAVE America Act and defend the fundamental right to vote for every eligible American.

House Republicans just passed the SAVE America Act, a sweeping voter suppression bill pushed by Donald Trump and the Far Right. It would impose rigid proof of citizenship requirements to register, dismantle mail-in and online voter registration, mandate restrictive photo ID rules nationwide, and trigger aggressive voter roll purges.

This is a direct attack on voting rights ahead of the midterm elections. The Senate can still stop it.
